Everest Challenge Postponed.... Closed Saturday, Sunday March 7th and 8th

Well, today was big ew vibes. We've had multiple days well above zero. It dumped and rained for most of today. The result: rotten snow. The top 10 towers got a heavy dump of snow, but down at the bottom it was rain and if we could magically conjure a safe way down we'd be golden. But as it stands, you gotta romp through a rotten base to reach the lodge and it just isn't safe, and as temps will sit well above zero round the clock for the next two days, it's not going to freeze until Monday.

What does this mean? We are postponing everything for this weekend to next weekend!! Snow is forecasted and nice cold temps will allow us to work some magic for some EPIC spring skiing!

Everest challenge will move to March 14th, conveniently lined up with our disco and denim days.

We want to stress that the hill has adequate snow. It's just totally rotten which is not safe for skiers. We need the snow to stabilize and freeze.

Can we all agree, that we need to catch a break. This winter has not been kind to the Ridge. We could really use some kind words to pump our tires as we are BUMMED OUT round here. As always, thanks for sticking with us and we really hope you'll all join us next weekend for a fun celebration/challenge!

And can we all give our friend @cwazy_duck a shout out. Not once. But twice. He's driven all the way from SASKATCHEWAN with his daughter as he's such a huge fan of the ridge and both times this happened. Dave, are you bringing that weather with ya?!
