Our annual fundraiser is just around the corner! We are shaking things up this year by giving the event a theme! Vember Fest: like October fest but late! We have a delicious menu of homemade pretzels, brats, spätzle and more! And of course some delicious local-ish beer on tap (don’t worry we stocked up before the strike!)
Last year we raised just under $34,000 and we are aiming big this year! Excellent items are rolling in, best emcee/DJ in FSJ Kenny Gallops and some surprise entertainment throughout the night! In like a lamb, out like a lion. And also Chuzcho Ooza (Time of the big snowflakes). March is always an exciting month! As of today all that snow that fell Sunday is on its way down to Stuart lake.
We want to deeply thank all our guests for such a wonderful winter. We know a few folks might be a bit disappointed we aren't remaining open, we really hope that our ski family understands that always, all efforts are made to provide the best possible experience up here.
One of the ways we do that is by planning for the rainy days. Two sets of new tracks on a groomer is that rainy day. We have a few large(4), costly maintenance projects this summer, and despite having a full season we're still always trying to walk that balance of remaining affordable for our guests and viable as a business.
Please join me in thanking our incredible staff and invaluable volunteers for all their time this winter. Thank you for your patronage and understanding. And thanks to the clouds for allowing us to have a full open Christmas holiday !
