January 13th 2023 Update

Last night and through today we did receive a rain storm down low, and snow up top. Today the conditions were too soft to operate safely. We are watching the temperatures closely and will make all efforts to be open tomorrow, however, if the base does not re freeze yet, we are concerned with damaging the runs .

We will continue to update as things change. With some colder temps, runs should firm up and be ready to go again!

Saying that, please check back often for updates as this is a changing situation. Thank you all for your understanding.

Friday the 13th isn’t spooky. But rain on a ski hill is:(

The whole region is experiencing rain currently, making roads very icey. YRB is cautioning people using side roads. Our road is a side road. Please be prepared for travel on icey roads.

The groomer was NOT able to groomer last night . Lifts are running but if conditions deteriorate further we will have to close for the day. Not alot of good news, but at least its Friday?

January 12th 2023 - Thursday

Rise and Shine, its Murray Ridge Monday!

We are open weekly Thursday to Sunday. Over the last few days, we received some fresh snow, the groomer just parked for the night so there will be smooth fresh groomed runs, and its currently -8C

January 11th 2023

We are gearing up for another week! We have moved into our regular season schedule which is Thursday to Sunday weekly. Lifts run 930-330.

January 7th 2023

Currently -5C with a light wind. The groomer is out on the slopes! We received some un-forecasted snow Thursday, 7cm, which went a long way in cleaning up the runs. It should be fantastic out there this weekend! Lifts run 930-330:)

Jan 5th 2023: We're back!

A bumpy opening but we made it! We officially opened our doors for the season on Dec 26th 2022. Today, January 5th 2023, its been snowing since sunrise.

We are open weekly Thursday to Sunday, lifts running 930-330. We will launch our events calendar later today. We are currently making some small changes to our webpage, so please email us if you cant find what you are looking for at ridgeofmurray@gmail.com
