Remember the old adage: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Well that was us last weekend. That storm was awful! Thank goodness there is a silver lining. The base has firmed up and we are back in action for this week!

Of course, this set back, like the last one has forced some adjustments to our schedules. There's a bit to go over so please read through!

1. The 8th annual Mt. Everest challenge will go ahead on the new date Saturday 14th. Same deets as before, but please note, unless it snows a decent amount, only the Mt Everest and base camp categories will be going ahead. Please head to the link in our bio or our website to register.

2. We have hundreds of skiable hectares for your enjoyment but of course the 3acre you can see from the lodge are less than appealing. Trust us, the groomers are great, an isolated ick spot on the face of Cassiar, and the closed park. Don't judge a book by its cover. It's great up here. Pic from today for proof ! Bunnyhill is .

3. Denim and disco this Saturday. Come and have some fun, get that Canadian tux on or dazzle us in sequins. Spring skiing is all about the fun and sun!

4. Bathtub race/slush cup is STILL scheduled for 21st. We will adjust if the weather forces us. But we're hopeful. Please get those nostalgic tubs ready? It's our 50th anniversary, let's celebrate!

4. Spring break hours will be announced after this post.

5. And finally: kids 12 and under will be skiing free again this weekend! Conditions are super fun for little ones. Fresh tilled groomers and sunny skies in the forecast.

Climate change has given us our fair share of challenges. We need all the support so get up here and support us and in return we'll give you: amazing spring skiing, hometown lodge full of friends, games and all homemade food and, the BIGGEST best homemade cinnamon buns all served up by a friendly group of locals.

Thanks for reading til the end. Ski you soon!
